Avoid the Latest Fad

Whether you found tattoo design galleries with examples you like, or have played with tattoo design software, avoid the influence of fads. Your tattoos art design should be something well thought out and personal. Fads come and go, so when you base your design solely on the current “in style,” you may regret it when the fad has passed.

Rebels Aren’t the Only Ones with Tattoos

You want to show the world your body art. However, keep in mind there may be times when you do not want the naked woman or fanged beast to be visible. Rebels aren’t the only ones with tattoos, so do not feel yours has to make a constant statement about your appearance. Remember you will inevitably have to attend job interviews, funerals and weddings. Place your tattoos art design accordingly.

Keep Communication Open with your Artist

If you forgo the chance to design your tattoo and have the artist do it for you, make sure you keep communication open. Be prepared to let the designer know if you dislike the tattoos art he or she came up with for you. Be constructive as well as kind in your feedback. This is the only way to come up with a feasible tattoos art design that you are proud to display on your body.
